Predating The Bridge, Borgen and The Killing, Rejsehldet (literal English translation: Mobile Unit) is an excellent example of Nordic noir, that ran for four series from 1 October 2000 to 1 January 2004.
Unit One is a mobile police unit, that travels over Denmark in a semi-trailer that is their office. The group are not only colleagues, they're like family. Each week a new crime must be solved, sending them from one end of the country to the other. But the stories also dive into their personal lives.
