I wanted to throw something through my TV after watching couple of episodes. Everything that makes sense in the book and is logicaly explained, is changed into nonsense on the show. And it’s made PG-12 so that all the scary parts are not there. People who are behind this show should never get another job in entertainment.
I am a huge King fan and have read all of his books. Some are definitely better than others. I liked Under the Dome, but also was disappointed in the ending. Some must reads in my opinion by Stephen King: -The Stand. Very long. Very complex, lots of characters like Under the Dome.

If you read this far, then you're incredible and i love you. That's my summary of Under the Dome. TLDR : The dome is there to protect and infest the living beings inside by aliens known as the kinship. Stuff happens, dome comes down, happy ending (with a slight cliff hanger).
