I read more quickly than I'd prefer now, since books cost a lot of money. That said, I finished Under the Dome in less than a week anyway (and I was still working then!).    • At most it should have been a mini-series. It's a great story if it ends after the point is made. I liked the book better. Felt like the series didn't know when to end. Read the book. Burn the series Book was awesome, the series was garbage. I've never seen such a terrible TV adaptation for a book as Under The Dome. The book is definitely better.

   • Under the Dome is one of my favourites. Definitely recommend reading it Read it. Stay clear of the series. The show starts out really well in my opinion and then…….    Is the end of the dome worth it?

   • Sometimes it's not a dome but the whole property is turned into a ship on an alien ocean. So yes, I thought the end was fine, just as good as the rest of the book. I like the ending a great deal. I finished it a while back and sat on it. The thing is, we could be a zoo given the right circumstances.
