Oct 26, 2023 · The most common amoxicillin dosage for a tooth infection is 500 mg every 8 hours for 7 days. The time interval isn't quite that strict so sometimes you can just do three times in a day instead. However for a very severe oral infection, taking amoxicillin alone may be insufficient.
