San Diego City Attorney Mara W. Elliott is recognized as a national leader in protecting the public through the use of Gun Violence Restraining Orders, or GVROs. This life-saving tool was created to help prevent predictable acts of gun violence.
Provides legal, medical, mental health therapy (children and families) and social services to victims of domestic violence at the Family Justice Center. Provides assistance to victims of all types of domestic violence, including spousal abuse, child abuse, elder abuse, and same sex abuse.
