Truro Cathedral School was a Church of England school for boys in Truro, Cornwall. An ancient school refounded in 1549 as the Truro Grammar School, after the establishment of Truro Cathedral in the last quarter of the 19th century it was responsible for educating the cathedral's choristers and became known as the Cathedral School.
Soaring above the surrounding rooftops, Truro Cathedral is located in the centre of this thriving Cornish city and wonderfully situated in the middle of the county of Cornwall. Designed by architect John Loughborough Pearson, it is one of only three cathedrals in the UK which has three spires.

Congratulations to probationers Bobby, Edward, Harriet, Hugo, Isla, James, Rupert, and Wilf, as well as our Head Choristers Harris, John, Joseph, Matipa, Natalie, and Ollie.

Mar 19, 2024 · After nearly two terms of learning the ropes in their journey as Truro Cathedral Choristers, our four probationers, Logan, Tom, Luca and Sebastian were made up as full choristers at the morning service on Sunday 17th March.
Truro School is the Truro Cathedral choristers’ school, an honour which not only acknowledges the school’s music provision but also gives access to the school with a 25 per cent scholarship to those choristers.
