Much like how The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and Hercules got their own series, Treasure Planet would have been next on the list. Unfortunately, with the sequel's cancellation, the hope of a series based on the original film went down the tubes.

Just to give some perspective, the trailers didn’t do the film much good as they had fallen into the trap of spoiling your films key plot points.
