Transcendence is a term denoting (Szlezák 2002) this absolute difference, (Worringer 1953) this “otherworldly” principle itself, and (Nicolis and Prigogine 1977) the activity of a limited being or even a person through which it goes beyond its nature. The latter is called a transcending act.
