Mar 5, 2021 · There are three main sections: The east section of the trail is located in a mountain valley that is rich in mining history. The middle section follows the Coeur d’Alene River and passes around fifteen small lakes and marshes. The west section follows the shoreline of Lake Coeur d’Alene.

This plan takes a deliberate approach to integrating tourism into the economic development future of the Coeur d’Alene Reservation. Through leadership, phasing of projects and programs, and partnerships, the plan will assist in coordinating tourism investments on the Reservation.
Introduction: The Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes State Park is one of the most spectacular and popular trails in the western United States. It is a 73 mile asphalt trial that is perfect for road bikers and in-line skaters. It nearly spans the Panhandle of Idaho as it runs along rivers, beside lakes and through Idaho’s historic Silver Valley.
