Feb 20, 2019 · Here’s how to activate your new phone and get it up and running. Select “Activate”. Select “I have a Tracfone phone”. Enter the phone’s IMEI/MEID/Serial Number (located on the red activation card that came with the phone) Review and accept Tracfone’s Terms & Conditions.
STEP 1: Have both phones’ serial numbers handy: • Your old phone’s serial number can be found on the phone’s settings menu. • Your new phone’s serial number can be found on the red activation card enclosed in your package. STEP 2: Activate via Web Here. • Enter the IMEI/MEID/Serial Number of your new phone.
Refer to your phone's manual or contact your previous service provider to find out which network your phone is/was using. If your service was active, there are some free online tools to help find your carrier by entering your phone number.

There are two ways to activate a phone: using a TracFone-branded phone or a different phone, like from AT&T.
Go online to activate your phone.
You may need to purchase a TracFone SIM card if you don't have one.
Use this method if you've purchased a phone from TracFone and are ready to activate your service.
If you don't have internet access, you can call TracFone support at 1-800-867-7183 to complete the activation.
Make sure your phone is charged before you begin the activation process.
