There’s a country vibe to this design and I love the use of red. The quilt is inspired by tiles used to create decorative Victorian floors and uses an eight-point star block in two colourways, surrounded by sashing made up of squares and triangles on point. This quilt design is just so charming and I love the Tilda girl tending to her hens. The quilt has two different blocks that alternate – the girl herself plus a henhouse – with sashing used to separate the rows of blocks.
