8/10. Surprisingly good. jeffpsy 12 March 2022. Surprisingly engaging and entertaining, Top Dog was full of good acting and three-dimensional characters. If you replaced the Serbian mob with an Italian one, it almost had a Scorsese feel to it.
Top Dog centres on the clash between ambitious business lawyer Emily Jansson and the ex-crook Teddy Maksumic. A mysterious disappearance brings together two completely different worlds, and an extremely ill-matched couple - lawyer Emily and the conditionally released Teddy.
