From a secure job to self-employment: Toni Hasler is Munich's only male midwife - a “lone wolf" in an absolute women's domain. After losing his clinic job, Toni, freshly divorced and in his late thirties, feels like he has his back to the wall.
When the single parent Luise has to show a dad to get a hard-fought daycare place, Toni jumps in without further ado. To the annoyance of Luise, he overlooks the mishaps of the new doctor's assistant Jella, singer in his friend Franzl's band, pragmatically.
