May 17, 2023 · Lake of the Woods is a small, natural lake located in Watersmeet Township, Michigan. It covers an area of approximately 384 acres and has a maximum depth of about 30 feet. The lake offers great fishing opportunities for various fish species such as pike, walleye and bass.
The elevation of the lake is 751 feet above sea level. The lake has two islands totaling slightly less than 4 acres. Hence, the surface area of the lake is 307 acres. The size of the watershed, which is the land area that contnbutes water to the lake, but does not Include the lake, is 4539 acres.
