Mar 23, 2015 · Dimitrios Katsantonis based the script on true historical events and witness accounts, especially that of Sotiris Souleles of Chicago, whose son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Cia Souleles, decided to invest in “Echoes of the Past” in order to bring the story of the Kalavryta Massacre to the screen.
Tom Souleles is Vice Chairman of MDP. Prior to joining MDP, Tom was with Wasserstein Perella & Co., Inc. He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of IPL Plastics and Packaging Corporation of America.
Kalavryta 1943 / Echoes Of the Past. Fiction drama, inspired by the infamous 'Massacre of Kalavryta' named after the homonymous greek village invaded by Nazi troops in 1943.
