   • Beer good, food is good honest pub food, cooked well and large portions. Yes, like other reviews , the pub is a bit tired but we enjoyed our 3 visits there while staying in Happisburgh and would most certainly visit again.    What do you like most about the Hill House Inn?

   • If you view the pub in that context you will have a better understanding of it. Here’s what I like most about The Hill House Inn; the food is good honest pub food, I have had some excellent steaks here over the years. The Summer Solstice Beer Festival is amazing with about one hundred different beers and ciders served in the garden, and live music.

   Is Happisburgh a good place to visit?

   • Food was excellent and chef lovely, came out regularly to check we were all happy - a good sign. Robbie the bar man went over and above to ensure we enjoyed our visit - great sense of humour. Landlord was also friendly and welcoming. Happisburgh church was beautiful. Definitely worth a visit, i would visit again.

   What was Happisburgh like?

   • It was a quirky little place. Happisburgh was falling into the sea. Clive the landlord was involved in local politics. I think the barman was called Bob who always wore a hat with a feather in it. One Tuesday I walked there along the cliffs and went through a field with a Muntjac deer in it.
