   Mar 1, 2022 · The Hill House Inn is a proper, old-school pub, with a great selection of well-kept real ales - sometimes brewed in their own micro-brewery. The "Mr. Winters" range of ales offered at the moment is just superb.

   What do you like most about the Hill House Inn?

   • If you view the pub in that context you will have a better understanding of it. Here’s what I like most about The Hill House Inn; the food is good honest pub food, I have had some excellent steaks here over the years. The Summer Solstice Beer Festival is amazing with about one hundred different beers and ciders served in the garden, and live music.

   What was Happisburgh like?

   • It was a quirky little place. Happisburgh was falling into the sea. Clive the landlord was involved in local politics. I think the barman was called Bob who always wore a hat with a feather in it. One Tuesday I walked there along the cliffs and went through a field with a Muntjac deer in it.

   Is Happisburgh a good place to eat?

   • The food is fine dining quality without a doubt, but absolutely without the paltry portions that wouldn't feed a gnat and those fine dining price tags that outstrip an every day budget. All in all, we adore this place and its people. Happisburgh holds a special place in our hearts and we will return many more times in the future.
