Tales of Us is the sixth studio album by English electronic music duo Goldfrapp, released on 6 September 2013 by Mute Records. In June 2013, the duo embarked on the Tales of Us Tour to promote the album.

The slow, haunting melody and Goldfrapp’s melancholic vocals perfectly convey the emotions of the characters in the song. The chorus, “Tender and torn, won’t leave you now,” reveals the conflicting emotions experienced by the characters involved in this tale of illicit love.
Isn't Thea live awesome? I've only heard it on low fi youtube recordings but I find the double layer of Alison's vocals mesmerizing and how the violin reaches the same pitch as Alison's voice and melts with it.
