We're now open 7 days a week 6am - 10:30pm. The Wave is close to junction 17 of the M5 motorway in South Gloucestershire, just 20 minutes from Bristol City Centre. Easter Compton, Bristol, BS35 5RE. We have an on-site café bar serving declicious food and drink. There's always something going on at The Wave - whether that's in or out of the lake!
The waves range from 0.5 to almost 2 metres with an average length or ride ranging from 35m to 85m depending on the wave and skill of the surfer. The average duration of a ride is 10-13 seconds. Is it easier to learn to surf at The Wave compared to the ocean? Beginners experience can be a speedier rate of learning at The Wave compared to the ocean.

Oct 7, 2019 · Surf Technical Information: Advanced waves run between 4-to-6 feet while intermediate waves stay in the 2-foot-range. Rides run between 12-15 seconds on each section of the wave pool. Hours of operation/Seasonal Hours: The pool will be open in Winter from 7am-8pm and surfing hours will be from 8am to 3pm.
