Fifteen is the fifth full-length album from Canadian folk trio The Wailin' Jennys. The nine-song album of covers commemorates the trio's fifteen years as a recording entity. The songs are a combination of ones played during their concerts and those decided during the five–day recording session.
The band released a self-titled EP and an album, 40 Days, in 2004. [5] The group now consists of soprano Ruth Moody, mezzo Nicky Mehta and alto Heather Masse. In previous years, the Jennys have also toured with fiddler and mandolinist Jeremy Penner, who is from Ruth's former band, Scruj MacDuhk.

Opening with their stark yet elegant rendering of “Old... acappella over a single droning viola tone, the album then shifts to a gorgeous full-band acoustic version of Tom Petty’s “Wildflowers.”.
In 2004, Red House Records released The Wailin’ Jennys’ first full-length album, 40 Days, in the U.S. to great critical acclaim, and in 2005 it won them a Juno Award (Canadian Grammy) for Roots & Traditional Album of the Year.
