Nov 25, 2023 · At the time of writing, AMC has not renewed The Vanishing Triangle for a second season. Given the nature of this series, that could change if there is some positivity from the viewers and encouragement from the creators and the audience.
It is a dramatisation of true stories from Ireland's Vanishing Triangle. Distributed by Eccho Rights, it premiered on Sundance Now in the United States on 26 October 2023, and aired on Virgin Media One in Ireland on 25 March 2024 and Acorn TV in the United Kingdom on 29 April.
The disappearances of eight women whose bodies have never been found may never be solved after police missed crucial opportunities to investigate their murders. The string of disappearances in the eastern part of Ireland would later be dubbed the 'Vanishing Triangle'.
