  3. Jan 5, 2017 · Great car. Spend a lot of time driving, only complaints; no 6th gear (i understand the new model will have 6th gear) and the radio reception is rubbish. Vauxhall model has a roof aerial!!!

  5. My experience with Chevrolet with a local company and how crappy they make their vehicles. I bought a 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 from Friendly Chevrolet in Albemarle in June of 2022. I picked up the vehicle and in less than 15 miles from Friendly Chevrolet the engine light comes on.

Buyers should avoid the Equinox since there are costly failures all the way back to 2010. Two engine options: an efficient 4-cylinder and powerful V6. Fuel economy is good at up to 25 MPG combined.

  7. My 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500, with 53000 miles on it, transmission failed recently. Worn pressure regulator and bad/deteriorated shift bearings. $5500 rebuild. A failure you might expect with a transmission that has 153000 miles on it, but not 53000.
