The Strange World of Gurney Slade is a surreal six-part British television comedy series devised by Anthony Newley and made by ATV, first transmitted by the ITV network between 22 October and 26 November 1960.
With Anthony Newley, Dilys Laye, William Kendall, Una Stubbs. Gurney Slade leaves the studio during the making of a television sitcom, a walk allows time to think of new words and the thoughts of passers-by, and a policeman confronts him when he drops a newspaper on the floor.
