The Simple-Minded Murderer (Swedish: Den enfaldige mördaren) is a 1982 Swedish drama film directed by Hans Alfredson, starring Stellan Skarsgård, as the feeble-minded Sven Olsson. It was released to cinemas in Sweden on 12 February 1982.
Powerful and admirable film by Hans Alfredson. Den Enfaldige Mördaren deserves to be better known. It's a fabulous film directed by Hans Alfredson and stars Stellan Skarsgård in one of his most memorable performances as the hare-lipped young man Sven, who's considered retarded by his surroundings.
- The Little Things. We like the sound of this first one. The Little Things has a real mid-90s thriller sound about it. Denzel Washington is Joe ‘Deke’ Deacon, a burned-out but intuitive deputy sheriff who teams up with Rami Malek’s LA Sheriff’s Department hotshot Jim Baxter to track down a deranged but wily serial killer, played by Jared Leto.

Overview. The feeble-minded Sven's mother dies and he gets work as a farm-hand at the rich, affluent Höglund's farm. He has to work without pay and sleeps together with the cows. He meets the disabled Anna who is the first one to treat him as an adult. One day he has had enough of Höglund's maltreatment and moves in with Anna's family.
