The Secret World is an MMORPG that lives up to the "massive" portion of the genre. With an open sandbox style world it's easy for a beginner to get lost. Luckily, The Secret World sheds some of the more confusing MMO conventions, such as skill trees, by offering the player free-reign to play however they choose. As you gain experience you will find yourself gaining Abilities Points (AP) and Skill Points (SP) that let you mold your character into what you want it to be. Want to be a Blood Mage with dual-wielding pistols? Go for it. Wielding a hammer while shooting lightning out of your hands sound more up your alley? That's an option too.
