The Salesian Academy of St John Bosco is dedicated to delivering an ambitious, coherent curriculum that embodies the Salesian values of respect, understanding, affection, and humour. We aim to provide an outstanding education that has an emphasis on high academic achievement, whilst being inclusive of all.
Inspired by the life of Christ and the work of St John Bosco, we endeavour, through active partnership with home, parish and the wider community, to prepare our pupils to face the future with confidence. We aim to instil the Salesian values of Respect, Understanding, Affection and Humour – RUAH.

Jan 18, 2023 · On the 1st January 2023, the much loved Savio Salesian College closed, and the new 'Salesian Academy of St John Bosco' was born. The school has joined the Liverpool Archdiocesan Catholic Multi Academy Trust, known as the 'Pope Francis Catholic MAT' which also consists of St Edmund Arrowsmith Academy in Whiston, and Sacred Heart Academy in Crosby.
