Jan 18, 2023 · On the 1st January 2023, the much loved Savio Salesian College closed, and the new 'Salesian Academy of St John Bosco' was born. The school has joined the Liverpool Archdiocesan Catholic Multi Academy Trust, known as the 'Pope Francis Catholic MAT' which also consists of St Edmund Arrowsmith Academy in Whiston, and Sacred Heart Academy in Crosby.
