The Ring is just forced emotional moments for no reason, dumb main characters who run into everything scary without thinking twice, and then acting like its the most terrifying thing ever. Every moment in this movie is predictable and boring.
The idea of Rings was so interesting though, with a group of college professors and students trying to approach the curse in a scientific way.
