Prologue
On June 24-25, 2021, Laura and Max, new counselors at Hackett's Quarry summer camp, drive down the route to camp one night before its opening to check things out. Trying to avoid hitting an unknown creature that suddenly appeared on the road, the two turn off the route and crash into the woods.
