The Orville is an American science fiction comedy-drama [1][2][3] television series created by Seth MacFarlane, who also stars as the protagonist Ed Mercer, an officer in the Planetary Union's line of exploratory space vessels in the 25th century.
With Seth MacFarlane, Adrianne Palicki, Penny Johnson Jerald, Scott Grimes. Set 400 years in the future, the crew of the U.S.S. Orville continue their mission of exploration, navigating both the mysteries of the universe, and the complexities of their own interpersonal relationships.
