    Summary

The episode opens with first red team meeting featuring a discussion between Jerry, Don, Mac, Jim, Maggie, Sloan and Charlie. When Jim expresses doubts about the story, to which Mac makes an analogy involving Santa Claus and reindeer, the latter sparking a rather pointless discussion. Hallie tries to set up Neal with an obnoxious, Ron Paul-obsessed MTV journalist friend of hers for dinner to which she invites Taylor because she seemed 'sad'. It is revealed that this is because she was fired from the Romney campaign for suggesting that they handle the media more openly. Hallie and Jim search for some "discretionary times," which are interrupted when she finds out she needs to be on a plane in 90 minutes. Maggie is drinking alone at the bar in Hallie's hotel. Jim spots her and Hallie tells Maggie that "Jim's fixing my computer." Jim goes to see her after Hallie leaves, when she scolds them for lying when they just could have admitted they were dating. Jim tells her "just be careful when you're drinking" before she leaves. Don is sitting at a bar when Mac joins him. He tells her that this is what he does now; he drinks alone at bars at night. Mac tells him that Sloan is out with a New York Giant and expresses distaste about Nina Howard. Mac asks Don if he trusts Jerry, promting him to say that Jerry "is guilty of the crime of not being Jim Harper." Will appears on ACN Morning leaving humiliated and scolds Nina over her suggestion to show up on that program. He is clearly becoming frustrated with her. Charlie and Mac visit General Stanislaus Stomtonovich, a retired Marine general who has knowledge of Genoa and has been critical of the U.S.'s handling of chemical weapons. He agrees to being filmed for a special news report, conditional on his voice being distorted and his face obscured to protect his identity. Before the camera starts rolling, the general does say that sarin was used in Genoa, but when Jerry records the interview, he is unable to get him to say it on record. Displeased with the finished footage, Jerry edits the raw footage to depict Stomtonovich admitting that the MARSOC unit used sarin.
