Maybe it’s because The Mick doesn’t mind balancing it out with some genuine darkness, where AP Bio plays it a little too safe. Whatever it is, Kaitlin Olson is hilarious and I hope she gets more work after always sunny ends.
Stuck inside the toilet of a train, Alba befriends a rat. Jimmy is shocked that his new friend is gay. Mickey and Sabrina spend the night in jail fighting. Chip severs his fingers. Ben and the Colonel take a stroll through town at night.
Sabrina and Mickey's dynamic is still such a high point for me in this show, and Alba getting drunk with a rat while stuck in a train bathroom just makes so much sense. Also I noticed a lot of parallels with previous Mick episodes and the most recent ones, as well as nods to It's Always Sunny.

Alba spends her vacation locked in a train bathroom with a rat. Meanwhile, Jimmy befriends a guy named Doug (Benjamin Arthur) who came to his aid during a scuffle over a parking space, but is later disappointed to learn that the man is gay.
