  2. I read the book before beginning the episodes on Hulu. I liked the book and the fact that it was based on authors family (her grandfather is Addy) and well researched. The author has said that every scene in film actually took place. The accented English is throwing me off (very inconsistent) as well as some of the darkly lit scenes.
