The film tells the true story of the San Felipe Mustangs, a group of Mexican-American youths located in Del Rio, Texas. In the 1950s, the group set out to play golf at a white country club in town in order to have a high school team.
The Long Game: Directed by Julio Quintana. With Jay Hernandez, Dennis Quaid, Cheech Marin, Julian Works. In 1955, five young Mexican-American caddies, out of the love for the game, were determined to learn how to play, so they created their own golf course in the middle of the South Texas desert.
