Bland thriller that wants to be a neo-noir riff but lacks the style and pace to pull it off; Beau Bridges feels out of place as the sheriff who gets wrapped up in plans to kill his mistresses husband, and Kiefer Sutherland tries his best to chew scenery but it only helps so much.
