    Imagine that in the close future, the postal service invents a new mail delivery system. And that the new computerized and holographic system gets tested out at Jon's. After all, Garfield is a real menace to the mail man. But imagine the system has a few teething problems, and Jon's papers get delivered a day early.

    The episode starts off with a Twilight Zone-style opening known as the Garfield Zone. The Narrator begins the episode with Garfield pranking the mailman Herman Post again by taking his mail truck apart. Fed up with Garfield's pranks, Herman quits and heads home.
