- The fear of God is a gift from Him. Genuine fear of God accompanies real conversion and comes from yielding to Him and receiving His Spirit. Notice how Isaiah 11:1-3 describes some of the qualities of the Messiah, Jesus Christ
- The fear of God produces godly humility. When someone truly fears God, it makes the person yield to Him—no matter what. This person is in awe and properly trembles before God and His Word—for it’s not a passing thought.
