Oct 10, 2023 · While The Eavesdropper is excellently written with impressive descriptions, it does contain noticeable errors and an excessive use of profanity. Despite these drawbacks, I rate the novel 4 out of 5 stars .
Each episode features a dramatised story that has been adapted from the works of several well-known writers, most notably, Roald Dahl. During the course of the programme, 112 episodes of Tales of the Unexpected aired over nine series, between 24 March 1979 and 13 May 1988.
