Summaries. Survivors of a nuclear attack are grouped together for days in the basement of their apartment building, where fear and dwindling supplies wear away at their dynamic. After a nuke bomb, residents of a building manage to rush into the building's bomb shelter before the superintendent seals the door.
The film immediately opens on a nuclear bombing of New York City that sends a group of tenants and their salty, tough-as-nails super, Mickey (Michael Biehn, yes, THAT Michael Biehn) into an improvised fallout shelter in the building’s basement.
