THE DESERTER'S WIFE. Michal Bat-Adam 1991. Nina, a French pianist, meets Ilan, an Israeli computer technician, in Paris, marries him, and, moves to Israel with him. Moving to a new place forces Nina to create a place for herself in the local music scene. However, Ilan gets injured during his military service, becoming disabled.
