The Dead Pit is a 1989 American horror film co-written and directed by Brett Leonard, in his directorial debut. Cheryl Lawson stars as a mental patient who must defeat an undead serial killer who previously worked at the asylum, played by Danny Gochnauer.

Jul 30, 2019 · The Dead Pit is one of those movies that horror fans either love or hate so when Dark Force and Code Red announced a blu release of it was met with skepticism and excitement. Some of my horror friends that liked the film was actually pretty excited for this release while others scoffed at the idea.
