- Gerald’s Game. Netflix Release Date: September 29, 2017. Without a doubt, the best horror movie to come exclusively to Netflix over the past few years has been Gerald’s Game.
- Cam. Netflix Release Date: November 16th, 2018. Although critics were huge fans of this one, it struck a chord with me as someone who loves Black Mirror and this plays out like an extended episode.
- The Babysitter & The Babysitter: Killer Queen. Netflix Release Date: October 13th, 2017 & September 10th, 2020. If you love teen comedy horror movies, then you couldn’t do much worse than The Babysitter.
- Little Evil. Netflix Release Date: September 1st, 2017. Adam Scott is the headline actor in this horror spoof. It involves Adam playing a stepfather who moves into his wives’ home to find out her child is potentially possessed.
A renegade doctor is shot dead and entombed with his fiendish experiments in the basement of an abandoned wing of a mental hospital. Twenty years later, a mysterious woman is admitted with amnesia, and her arrival is marked by an earthquake - which cracks the seal to the Dead Pit, freeing the evil doctor to continue his work.
In July 2024, Netflix released the first trailer for the film [27] and the movie came out on October 4, 2024.
The Dead Pit is a 1989 American horror film co-written and directed by Brett Leonard, in his directorial debut. Cheryl Lawson stars as a mental patient who must defeat an undead serial killer who previously worked at the asylum, played by Danny Gochnauer.
The film follows a defiant teenage boy who faces off with an evil witch posing as the neighbor next door. The Wretched had its world premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival on July 19, 2019, and was released in drive-in theaters and through Premium VOD on May 1, 2020.
