While I was reading *The Dark Tower—*the book, not the series—I remembered what it was like to read It (warning: spoilers for It coming). That book was so suspenseful and kept me turning the pages so well that it almost hyped itself up for me.
The Dark Tower is Life-Changing. I finished it a few weeks ago. I struggled with the right adjective for the title. Amazing? Criminally underrated? Fantastic? Shocking? I settled on life-changing because it's true. I'm a big reader of fantasy sagas and the Dark Tower was like a two-by-four between the eyes.
After a recent read-through of the Dark Tower books, I'm curious to see what the general consensus is on this series. I think that the adventures of the Ka-tet and the worldbuilding involved was nothing short of amazing, though the series did seem to lose steam after book IV.
