As the highly-anticipated gaming movie's release date draws nearer, the latest news comes in the form of the final trailer for Borderlands. Covering much of the same ground seen in previous trailers, the minute-and-a-half tease reintroduces the main plot before quickly jumping to the film's abundant action sequences. Though still humorous, the final trailer puts less emphasis on the quick-witted dialogue, and more on the smash-mouth action.
Borderlands Arrives In Theaters In August
Despite delays caused by the Hollywood strikes of 2023, the video game adaptation is still slated to arrive on its originally scheduled release date. The Borderlands movie will premiere in theaters on August 9th, 2024. The film began shooting in 2021 and wrapped in June of that same year.
