   Oct 12, 2024 · If you have never tried British cuisine, you should reserve a table at this bar. Being at The Beacon, order nicely cooked fried chicken, sea bass and chicken pies. It's time to try good brownies, pudding and apple pie. Delicious cask ale, lager or prosecco are the best drinks of this place. Visitors don't highly appreciate cappuccino at this spot.

   What to eat at the Beacon?

   • Visited the Beacon for tea on Monday. Due to dine in to help out it was busy with a number of tables reserved. Having booked we were shown to our table, having trouble with the App we ordered drinks and food at the bar. Food was good and the usual good selection of ales. I recommend the IPA and Katsu Chicken Curry.

   What was it like working at the Beacon?

   • On entering The Beacon, I was greeted warmly by the staff. The lad that served me was very friendly and engaged in conversation. Had a lovely drink and noticed all of the staff were constantly busy serving food and being very pleasant with other customers. Manageress came across and warmly welcomed us. Lovely pub and lovely experience.
