There are 4 Amel's (53 or 54) listed on the US East Coast and another 6 in the Caribbean. More come and go all the time. I'd save yourself the trouble and the complexity of buying overseas and exhaust the ones here first. Amel makes a well-regarded cruiser. They seems built very solidly to me.
