Welcome to the Temple City church of Christ! We are very different from most other churches you may have visited or heard of. We do not belong to a denomination, we are not under any central church government (like a pope, national headquarters, etc.), and we have no famous “pastor” as our leader.
Fast forward to today–there is now a church of Christ in Temple City, California! The church is made up of those who have been baptized into Christ for the forgiveness of sins. We have accepted, and now we preach, the same Good News message that was given by Christ to His apostles.

Work has concluded on the temple’s six spires, and scaffolding has been removed. The spires have been strengthened for seismic resistance.
Services. Our Sunday services begins at 9:30 AM with Bible study. We have a break for coffee or refreshments, and then Worship starts at 10:45 AM. Sunday afternoon service starts at 5:00 PM. Mid-week Bible studies classes are held every Wednesday night at 7:00 PM.
About Temple City Church of Christ. We at Temple City Church of Christ in Temple City all still struggle with our own fallenness - daily - despite God's redemptive mercy through Christ. We have been delivered by God's grace from the ultimate penalty of Sin (eternal death), but the scars persist.

Plans are already underway to build a new temple, the second in Alabama, but its exact location is yet to be determined.
