Sylvia Young Theatre School - Holiday Courses. Under the supervision of Sylvia Young OBE, our holiday courses are taken by both teachers from our full-time school and also by professionals from the theatre world. The emphasis of our classes is on vocational development with good training.
The Sylvia Young Theatre School is non-denominational and co-educational. Our students range from 10 to 16 years of age. We are a small school of around 250 students and value our ‘family atmosphere'.

Sylvia Young Theatre School. Young founded her theatre school in 1981 in Drury Lane, London, before moving to its current Marylebone premises in 1983. [3][4] The school is co-educational and provides a combination of academic and vocational classes for children aged 10 to 16 years.
Following on from the experience of Year 9 our school offers all students a broad and balanced curriculum in Year 10 and 11 that develops their intellectual curiosity and subject expertise with a set of GCSEs that is both stimulating, engaging and offers a sound foundation for further study.
