County Farm Park is the largest County park. Native trees and fauna cover a large area bisected by Little Hogan Creek that is an increasingly rare unspoiled natural area. There are also two ponds and a disc golf course that are open to the public. Approximately 40 acres is currently leased for farming.
This park is wonderful. There is easy parking, walking trails in and out of the woods. There are a few farm animals to see as well. There is a kids learning center, and playground. There is a barn stage where they host music in the summer. There is work currently being done to add a model railroad to the park. Bathrooms are available as well.

Seven miles of hiking trails meander through the park providing nature enthusiasts a chance to view abundant wildlife and beautiful wildflowers. A six-mile designated mountain bike trail provides mountain bikers a thrilling ride through a wooded and rolling terrain.

Jan 11, 2024 · The “Swallow Cliff” at Swallow Cliff Woods is a 100-foot-high bluff formed 12,000 years ago when glacial meltwater carved out the Sag Valley, leaving behind steep walls and a varied landscape of morainal hills and pothole lakes. As it did across the region, fire shaped the natural communities here.
