   Is there a bridge at Swallow Falls State Park?

   • A temporary one-lane bridge has been placed on the entrance road of Swallow Falls State Park. All traffic exiting the park must yield to traffic entering the park. Please be patient and follow all posted signage. If the line of traffic extends to the main road, do not block the road.

   How do I get to Swallow Falls?

   • You could pull right in a spot in the main parking lot. From the entrance 10 minutes or less to the left and you are at Muddy Fall. Another 10 minutes to the right and you see the Swallow Falls or you can do a longer loop around to both. People were polite and trying to social distance. Well worth a visit.

   Is Swallow Falls a good hike?

   • Highly recommended for a day trip or weekend getaway. My family visited Swallow Falls for the first time recently and found it to be an extremely beautiful place. Parking was limited at the trailhead but once we started our hike, the journey to the falls was cool.

   Has the Swallow Falls paving been rescheduled?

   • ALERT (UPDATED 1/30/24): The paving project has been rescheduled to 2025. From April 1, 2025, to October 30, 2025, contractors will be paving and replacing culverts throughout Swallow Falls State Park. During this time, the campground and the shelter will be closed.
